Academic Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Guide students in selecting suitable IT courses based on their interests, aptitude, and career goals.
• Provide detailed information about courses, fees, duration, and career opportunities.
• Assess student aptitude and recommend appropriate training programs.
• Address student queries related to academics and career guidance.
• Collaborate with trainers and faculty to stay updated on curriculum and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and follow-ups.
• Support the admission and enrollment process for prospective students.
• Stay updated on IT industry trends and job market requirements.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage student data and track interactions.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (BBA in Sales, Marketing, or IT Management preferred).
• Degree in Education, Psychology, IT, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in academic counseling or student support is preferred.
• Basic understanding of IT courses and career pathways.
• Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and student-focused approach.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and student needs.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive attitude.
