Role Overview & Specifications
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling production-grade applications using Python.
- Location: Mumbai (Hybrid – 3 days Work From Office, remaining days remote).
- Role: Lead the engineering team in architecting, developing, and scaling a modern AI-powered eCommerce platform tailored for the Indian market.
- Responsibilities: Design scalable backend systems, drive technical decisions, mentor developers, collaborate with product and design teams, ensure high code quality, and oversee end-to-end feature delivery.
- Required Skills: Strong expertise in Python, experience with modern web frameworks (Django/FastAPI), solid understanding of system design, APIs, databases, cloud deployment, and software architecture.
- AI Experience: Hands-on experience integrating or building AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG, agents, recommendation systems, search, automation, or other applied AI technologies.
- Preferred: Prior experience in the eCommerce domain, including catalog management, payments, inventory, order management, or customer-facing platforms.
- Joining Timeline: Immediate to September 2026. Candidates who can join within this timeline will be preferred.
