Transport Executive – Operations & Fleet Logistics for Amritsar & Chandigarh

Role Overview:

As a Transport Executive, you will take complete ownership of day-to-day transportation execution, fleet supply, and operational dispatching while utilizing our proprietary software stack. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure timely trip completion, seamless billing cycles, and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Secure a steady supply of vehicles for daily manifests and resolve on-ground transportation issues in real time.
• Drive full usage of OORJAA's in-house Android apps and TMS platforms at every stage of the trip.
• Collate trip data and maintain accurate daily MIS reports using MS Excel.
• Partner with the Regional Manager to ensure timely monthly billing closures for both clients and vendors.
• Supervise daily operations, manage driver networks, and resolve daily execution bottlenecks on-site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; a postgraduate degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations is preferred.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in transport operations, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), intra-city logistics, fleet management, or hub operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data aggregation.
• Hands-on experience using Android applications and modern logistics tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, high ownership, and the ability to manage active ground operations.
• Good working attitude with strong interpersonal skills to manage fleet drivers, hub managers, and regional leads.
