We are building a fast-growing fintech platform focused on intelligent financial recommendations, transaction analytics, and data-driven automation. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-world datasets, AI/ML applications, analytics engineering, and product decision-making.

Role Overview

We are looking for highly driven Data Analyst Interns who can work across the full data lifecycle — from data scraping and cleaning to analytics, visualization, database design, and machine learning model development.

This is not a “dashboard-only” internship. You will work on actual business problems involving large datasets, automation, prediction models, and product intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and extract structured/unstructured data from websites, APIs, PDFs, and external sources
• Clean, transform, validate, and organize raw datasets for analytics and ML use cases
• Build and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and identify trends, anomalies, and business insights
• Create dashboards, reports, charts, and visualizations for management and product teams
• Develop AI/ML models for prediction, classification, recommendation, clustering, and automation
• Work on NLP, transaction categorization, recommendation engines, and scoring models
• Automate repetitive reporting and analytical workflows using Python scripts
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to convert data into actionable insights
• Document datasets, logic, workflows, and model outputs clearly

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python
• Good understanding of SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
• Familiarity with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, or APIs
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts and libraries like Scikit-learn
• Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data handling and reporting
• Understanding of data visualization and reporting principles

Good to Have

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LLM integrations
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of fintech, payments, or transaction data
• Experience working with Firebase, Supabase, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
