Drone Perception Engineer Internship

Requirements:

• Strong foundational knowledge in drones, UAV systems, and practical exposure to flight platforms and their components.
• Demonstrated experience in operating and flying multirotor drones for testing and data collection. A valid Remote Pilot Certificate (DGCA RPAS Remote Pilot Certificate) or equivalent drone pilot license is required.
• Background in robotics and aerospace engineering, with an understanding of control systems, kinematics, and sensor integration.
• Hands-on programming skills in languages commonly used for robotics and perception (e.g., Python, C++, ROS), with experience in algorithm implementation.
• Ability to work with perception-related data (images, point clouds, sensor streams) and familiarity with basic computer vision, sensor fusion, or signal processing concepts.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-evolving technical environment.
• Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and readiness to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru.
• Exposure to simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, PX4, MATLAB) and experience with embedded or real-time systems are advantageous.
