About the Company:

Meganet Steels Pvt Ltd is one of India's largest distributors of sawn timber, based in Nariman Point, Mumbai. The company is engaged in the import, distribution, and supply of quality timber products.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.

• Handling GST Retruns/ TDS Paymentand PT also.

• All Stautory Payment to be done in time.

• Maintain and monitor company accounts, ledgers, and financial records.

• Handle bank-related activities and coordinate with banking teams.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting documents.

• Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and external stakeholders on accounting matters.

• Ensure timely completion of accounting-related tasks and follow-ups.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

• Prepare regular accounting reports and provide updates to management.

• Supervise and coordinate with the accounts team, wherever required.

• Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within timelines.

• Preparing  MIS report.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/accounts management or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting processes.

• Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Good understanding of banking transactions and reconciliations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good follow-up and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other regional languages will be an advantage.
