About the Company

Kola Communications is a dynamic tech and marketing agency. As an intern, you will work on various brands associated with us, with an initial focus on The Gourmet Gifts. You will play a key role in shaping their digital presence, including their visual identity, tone of voice, and overall digital strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan content and build content calendars.
• Write engaging hooks and captions for various platforms.
• Shoot reels, product content, and behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage.
• Edit and design content using tools like CapCut, Premiere, Canva, and Figma.
• Manage and run content on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Shorts.
• Handle comments and community engagement.
• Track content performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

• Proven ability to create content (personal pages count!).
• Understanding of why certain content formats are effective.
• Comfortable with camera operation and video editing timelines.
• Excellent written communication skills with a natural, human tone.
• No prior marketing degree, agency experience, or large social media following is required.
• Open to students of any year and recent graduates.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup, coming into the office for strategy sessions, shoot days, and launches (always planned in advance).
• Ability to share class schedule for flexible work arrangements.
