Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare accurate project estimates, BOQs, and cost sheets for electrical projects.
• Estimate material, manpower, equipment, and other project costs.
• Prepare project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with the Project, Procurement, Design, and Execution teams.
• Identify cost variations and support cost-control activities.
• Prepare and submit commercial proposals and tender documents.
• Maintain estimation records and project costing documentation.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in Electrical Project Estimation.
• Good knowledge of electrical materials, installation, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, costing, budgeting, and tendering.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
