About the Company:

Talapatram is an AI-powered learning platform for Indian Knowledge Systems — bringing India's civilisational wisdom to a modern,digital-first audience. We turn ancient texts, practices and traditions into courses, stories, and short-form content that people actually want to watch. Our media output spans YouTube long-form, Shorts, Instagram Reels and on-ground event coverage

Skills & Requirements:

• Camera proficiency: Comfortable independently handling DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, and basic lighting equipment on shoots. While many shoots may be mobile-first, familiarity with professional camera equipment is important.
• Video editing: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience with mobile video-editing apps is also a plus.
• Content editing: Hands-on experience editing interviews, UGC, explainers, product demos, lifestyle content, and other short-form video formats.
• Audio & colour: Basic understanding of sound design, audio mixing, and colour correction.
• Motion graphics: Basic animation and motion graphics skills using After Effects or similar tools.
• Independent execution: Ability to work independently on location and manage shoots with minimal supervision.
• Creative mindset: Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and an eagerness to experiment with different formats and storytelling styles.
• AI tools: Experience using AI-powered tools for generating visuals, animations, and editing assistance is a plus.
• Shoot coordination: Experience assisting with, leading, or coordinating content shoots is preferred.
• Social media & trends: Familiarity with current social media trends, meme culture, and viral content formats, with an ability to create scroll-stopping hooks, fast-paced edits, engaging graphics, and platform-native content.
• Interest in Indian culture: A genuine interest in Indian culture, philosophy, temples, festivals, and/or classical arts is a strong plus, as a significant part of the role will involve filming and creating content around these subjects.
• Language skills: Working knowledge of at least one Indian language in addition to English is preferred.
