Role Overview & Specifications
Fitfare is hiring for the role of UI/UX Designer Intern!
Roles
- End-to-end ownership of design work: requirement → user flow → wireframe → UI → prototype → developer handoff → implementation review → documentation
- Primary tool is Figma, used for wireframing, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes
- Responsible for building and maintaining a design system — reusable components, typography, color, spacing, icons — to keep the product visually consistent
- Works across both mobile app and website design
- Collaborates directly with developers: prepares handoff specs/assets, then reviews shipped work for UI/UX inconsistencies
- Documents design decisions, flows, and specs throughout — not just at the end
- Also handles marketing/visual assets: brochures, banners, presentations
- Expected to bring light UX thinking — basic research, competitor analysis, usability checks — not just visual execution
- Best suited for someone who treats design as problem-solving, not just "making screens look nice"
- Ideal candidate: student/recent grad in UI/UX or Product Design, with a portfolio showing flow-based thinking and systemized design, comfortable owning ambiguous requirements independently
Responsibility
- Convert requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Build interactive Figma prototypes and maintain a consistent design system (components, typography, colors, icons)
- Ensure responsive design across devices; collaborate with developers on implementation and QA
- Create marketing creatives (brochures, banners, presentations)
- Maintain organized Figma files and up-to-date design documentation
- Conduct basic UX research and competitor/usability analysis as needed
Requirements
- Strong Figma proficiency; solid grasp of UI/UX principles, wireframing, prototyping
- Understanding of user flows, information architecture, typography, grids, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to build reusable design systems and professional marketing assets
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
