About the Role
Are you a filmmaker who loves the logistics of production but also enjoys being in front of the camera? We are looking for an On-Set Production Intern to join the BabyBillion crew.
In this role, you will work both behind and in front of the camera. You will assist with shoot schedules, coordinate on-set activities, and support the Director and Assistant Director in managing the high-volume workflow of a large YouTube channel. You may also participate as on-screen talent when required.
This role is ideal for an Instagram or YouTube creator looking to gain professional production experience.
What You'll Do
- Support Pre-Production: Assist with schedules, location scouting, shot lists, and prop sourcing to ensure shoots are well prepared.
- Assist on Set: Coordinate call times, manage talent movements, and ensure the crew has everything required to stay on schedule.
- Learn Production Logistics: Gain hands-on experience managing the various moving parts of a shoot and solving logistical challenges in real time.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a link between the production crew and office team, ensuring call sheets are distributed and everyone is aligned on the day's objectives.
- Step Into the Spotlight: Participate as on-screen talent when required, including supporting characters, hosts, or skit participants.
Who You Are
- Creator Mindset: You are not just interested in filmmaking but also enjoy creating content and have an active presence on platforms such as Instagram or YouTube.
- Camera Ready: You have good camera presence, confidence, and the ability to take direction while acting. You are comfortable bringing energy and expressiveness to children's content.
- Student or Recent Graduate: You are currently studying Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or have recently graduated with an interest in video production.
- Eager to Learn: You have experience with student films, personal projects, or similar work and are keen to understand how professional production sets operate.
Skills We're Looking For
- Strong Organizational Skills: Comfortable managing schedules, lists, equipment, and people while paying attention to detail.
- Proactive Attitude: Willing to take initiative and step in wherever support is needed.
- Calm Under Pressure: Able to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced production environment.
Bonus Points
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro for DIT, logging, or basic editing support.
- Kids' Content: Genuine interest in YouTube content and an understanding of the energy and creativity required for children's entertainment.
